The Byzantine Empire

We moved east today in class and introduced the eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire. Students Began to disect Ch 2 Sec 3 and identify main ideas from the text. Students found keywords, constructed phrases showing the main idea of portions of text, and illustrated the main idea. We will continue this activity tomorrow and continue moving forward with Christianity in the Eastern Roman Empire and its diferences with the West.
