Home Stretch!
With only a week and a half left of 7th grade, we realize how short a time there is left to raise our grades. The ch 16 study guide is due today, and after we review it we will play our review game thursday, and then take our final test of the year on friday. Next week will be a relaxed discussion of ch 17 and the exciting revolutions that took place. Text books have been turned in so very little homework will be assigned in the next week and a half. Make sure your child prepares for the final test of the year!

The Last Unit!
To close out a wonderful year of World History, our last unit of study will be on the Age of Exploration. Today students received a map of the world and were instructed to draw and label the routes that 8 explorers took during this historical period. Countries of origin were included as were continents and oceans. Time and markers were provided in class to complete this assignment and students will have the chance to finish this in class tomorrow.

College Week
Today in class we discussed the things the students look forward to most about college. I was able to tell some of my college experiences and even show some pictures. We will continue our study of the Inca this week, and a reminder that the typed essay on the Aztec Empire is due tomorrow.
